We are exploring a new Senior/Junior-focused housing pilot in Almeida for the 2026鈥2027 academic year, with priority given to rising seniors. We are currently gauging interest to determine demand and feasibility as part of a pre-placement process.
This proposed model is designed to offer an apartment-style experience that feels similar to off-campus living, without the hassle of landlords, leases, utilities, or private rental responsibilities. The goal is to provide upperclassmen, especially seniors, with a more independent living experience that supports the transition to life after college while remaining in university-managed housing.
Living in 国产网红福利一区 housing offers a predictable, all-inclusive cost structure. Housing, utilities, internet, safety services, maintenance, campus facilities, and community-building opportunities are built into one consistent rate.
Almeida Senior/Junior Housing Model
- Quad apartments would become 3-person apartments
- The larger double remains a double room
- The smaller double would be reclassified as a single
- Triple apartments would become 2-person apartments
Rising Seniors placed through this model would be eligible for a complimentary residential parking with the understanding they remain in Almeida for the full academic year
Rising seniors will be prioritized in placements
Rising seniors and rising juniors who have or do pay their housing deposit, submit their housing application, and sign the 2026-2027 Housing Contract by March 9, 2026 at 11:59pm EST will be eligible.
Required Step: Hawk Link Application
Rising seniors and rising juniors interested in this Almeida pilot must complete a secondary HawkLink form tied to the housing application to indicate interest.
HawkLink form deadline: March 9th, 2026 at 11:59pm EST
If you already know who you would like to live with, you will be asked to:
For 2-person apartments:
- List your intended roommate's full name & ID number
For 3-person apartments
- Identify roommate pairs
- Specify who would occupy the single room
This information helps us understand group preferences and plan placements accurately. Please ensure that your intended group leader submits the form.
Placement Timeline
Submitting the HawkLink does not guarantee placement, rather it allows us to assess interest and build a potential placement plan.
Groups selected for Almeida Senior/Junior Placement will have their applications approved and they will be placed by March 26th.
If space runs out, resident groups will be repopulated back into the General Housing Selection process with their class group.
Late Housing Selection
Students who submit any pre-selection materials after the March 9, 2026 at 11:59pm deadline (housing deposit, application, and signed contract) will be placed into Late Selection. This process allows students to select from remaining housing spaces after Regular and Pre-Selection Placements have concluded.
Secondary Pre-Selection Actions
Review Student Account and ensure that any Bursar holds are removed. Holds can be viewed through a student鈥檚 Roger Central account.
Students with holds on their accounts after March 23rd will be removed from the Housing Selection Process.
Opens: March 18, 2026 at 12:00am
Closes: March 25, 2026 at 5:00pm
