Honors Program Applying & Eligibility

Membership and Eligibility: First Year Applicants

First year applications may complete an Honors Program application as included on the Common Application or as linked above. Our preferred application deadline for the Honors Program coincides with our November 15th Early Action deadline, and students applying later will be considered on a space-available basis.

Students admitted to the Honors Program should demonstrate significant preparation in academics, community engagement and leadership. Below are some examples of typical RWU Honors Program students. Although these profiles are examples, they are not exhaustive of the academics, community engagement and leadership experiences of students who would be successful in the program.

Students have the opportunity to complete an OPTIONAL short essay. This essay can be used to enhance your Honors Program application or to share anything that the rest of your RWU application does not cover.

The selection committee will weigh all materials submitted in addition to considering potential fit with the program mission and goals, commitment to the Honors Living Learning Community, and dedication to engaging the campus, the community, and the world.

Membership and Eligibility: Current RWU Students

Currently enrolled 国产网红福利一区 students performing with academic distinction (minimum 3.5 cumulative gpa) within their first three semesters are encouraged to apply. Acceptance is contingent upon the student's ability to complete all program requirements (including 18 honors-designated credits) through their remaining course of study. Transfer students of academic distinction may also be considered for Honors Program membership.
